Our Goal
We want teens to know Jesus, and not just know about Him so that they have a solid faith before leaving high school.

Wednesday Night Bible Study
Every Wednesday starting at 6:30pm (Dinner at 6pm) during the school year the junior high and high school students meet. We get to share what is going on in our lives and have a lesson with a time of discussion with one another.   If you are looking for a place to be yourself and to be challenged to think about God and His world we would love for you to join us. Junior High and High School usually meet separately every week.

Throughout the year the youth group goes to conferences and does many events together. These types of trips provide opportunities to get to know one another, have some crazy fun, and be challenged in your faith. Some of the things we do are: Rock & Worship Roadshow, Lock-ins, Movie Night, Vine Conference, and Move Conference.

May 17th – Youth Group Lighthouse Mission Event.  Junior High and High School will be going to serve a meal and visit with residents at the Lighthouse Shelter in Marion, IL.  We will leave the church at 3:30 and will return at 7:30.  Bring money to get dinner after serving.

We want our youth to be the hands and feet of Jesus to this world and to discover their gifts. There are several ways for youth to get involved and to serve here at ECC. Some of the areas to serve in are: Senior’s Valentine Day Dinner, Children’s Church, Nursery, and Worship Band. As a youth group we plan on going out and serving others when we get the chance.

Summer Camp
Every summer our youth get to attend Southern Illinois Christian Service Camp in West Frankfurt. Everyone that goes has a blast at camp. You get to enjoy swimming, sports, worship time, hear great messages, make new friends, and draw closer to Jesus. Plus, it is a week away from your parents and siblings. There are several different camps offered throughout the summer.
